Can my home address be tracked down if someone gets my IP address and ISP?
HI if someone figured your ip address by some software then using that ip they can get details like ip location ,country ,ISP address ,latitude and so on …But they can’t trace your exact home address from your ip address ..They can trace your location using sites like Ip-Details.com here they render ip search tool which display the details mentioned above ..But don’t worry they can’t trace your home address from your ip address…
Your IP only tracks back to your internet service provider (ISP). If you are using a mail client (like Outlook Express, or Thunderbird) to send mail, your machine ID can be sent in the headers, but that should not be any major issue unless your last name is used in your computer name. If you want to know what info people can get from your IP… First look it up at http://whatismyip.com then research it at http://ws.arin.net/whois/ I just looked up mine, all you can tell is I’m a Comcast cable user in Houston, TX.
