Can my financial advisor countersign my passport?

I don’t think a financial adviser is acceptable unless he is a qualified accountant. Do you know any Civil Servants or teachers? As a permanent Civil Servant, I used to countersign passports for people, and it was always accepted. Someone suggested asking your Doctor. Be warned, they usually charge. There is a notice up in my surgery saying there is a charge of £20 to do this. Surely there is someone else at the bank in which you work that would qualify? It can be any bank official, doesn’t have to be a manager.
