Can my excelerated heart rate hurt baby?

0

It *can* – if your heart rate is really high up – there but in your instance, no. The way your heart rate gets elevated during too much exercise is how it could hurt your baby. I’m very sorry for your loss. Be sure you mention this to your OB. They could suggest options for you, even recommend a safe anti-anxiety medication for you. I know Prozac is safe during pregnancy.

I’m so sorry to hear about your Mom. Well, first you should make an appt with your OB and check your heart rate and rhythm. It’s common for our heart rate to climb with pregnancy, but you’re under so much stress that has to be bad for the baby. Get checked and see what advice they have for you. If possible take a break of a week or two from school. Better to work a little harder and catching up when you’re stronger than stressing out yourself and your baby. Take care of yourself and best of luck.

I went through the death of my father while I was a college student. It was my first semester too. I wasnt pregnant then but I am now. I know all the stress you have and you will get through this. You already seem very strong and staying calm for the sake of your child. I look back and I wonder how I got through it. Just take your time grieving and relax. Keep your eyes on the future and try not to dwell too much on the past. I think your fast heart beat is your anxiety. Just tell your Dr. what you are going through and they will give you advice.
