Can My Debt Assist Partner stop interest and fees from accruing on my account balances?
No. Additional charges can be added to your account as outlined by the agreement you signed with each of your creditors when you first opened the account. If the agreement allows for these additional charges, we cannot prevent them. Naturally, if your creditors continue adding these charges, your account balances will keep growing until we are able to negotiate settlements. Even with these additional charges, we are going to negotiate a lump-sum final settlement. This amount is typically far less than the total balance due when you enroll.
