Can my child request to play with their friends or with their favorite coach?
Riverbend Soccer will honor “mutual” requests to play with one friend. That is, if Player ‘A’ requests to play with Player ‘B’ AND if Player ‘B’ requests to play with Player ‘A’, then these two players will normally be placed on the same team. In order to prevent the formation of “stacked” teams, Riverbend Soccer does not guarantee that they will honor requests to play with multiple friends or with specific coaches. However, Riverbend Soccer’s policy on team formation does allow a great deal of flexibility in team formation … if all coaches in a particular age group are in agreement with the process.
