Can my child move to another class midyear? Do children move classes based on age?

At Fountainhead we know that each child is unique. Children will move classes based on physical stature and academic, social, and emotional readiness. Children can move up midyear based on feedback from parents and teaching staff and availability. Please note that placement in our PreK/Kindergarten program requires that the child be four years old by July 1st for a Summer or Fall PreK/Kindergarten placement. Children may only move midyear from Preschool/PreK to the PreK/Kindergarten class in the month of January. Feel free to discuss your child’s progress at our parent-teacher meeting or set up a time to meet with his or her teacher.
