Can my child be in FRE if they are going to receive a sacrament such as First Holy Communion or Confirmation?
Yes. Family RE works closely with the RE Dept. of St. John Neumann to make sure that children who are receiving sacraments are being taught the material required. FRE has the distinct advantage of small class sizes as well as parental integration into the childs sacramental preparation. The sacrament truly becomes a family and community-based event.
