Can my 8 week old puppy have 2% milk?
This behavior needs to stop now, while you might think it’s cute cause he’s 8 weeks old it won’t be cute when he’s 70lbs and trying to get food out of your son’s bowl. Trust me the dog will outweigh your son in 6 months. Manners need to be taught now and that is not to beg or try to maul your son for food. It’s not the milk so much as the fact he’s trying to get what your son is eating. This is how dogs get gastroenteritis and pancreatitis (eating human food). I do not recommend giving the dog milk especially a puppy as it can cause stomach upset and diarrhea. When your son eats your dog/puppy needs to be put up somewhere until he finishes. Never encourage a behavior in a puppy that you would disapprove of a 70lb adult dog doing.
