As long as it doesn’t take away from the amount of formula she is supposed to be taking, she can have SMALL amounts of milk. Offer it in a sippy cup, just so she can get used to the taste…again, in small amounts. The ONLY reason health practitioners say NO milk products until after a year is because they don’t want to create confusion by saying “milk is okay, but in small amounts…” (reason being the lack of nutritional value equivalent to formula or breast milk, and the lactose content) some people will take that too literally and argue “what is considered small amounts?!” It’s just easier to blanket the whole thing and say no milk until over a year. As far as a baby under a year not being able to digest the milk…if given, as I said, in very small amounts, it’s not going to harm your baby. In large amounts, replacing her formula, yes, it will harm her tummy. But 1/4 of a sippy cup here and there is not going to harm her. As far as the amount of formula and solids she should be ea
