Can my 19 yr old get free prescriptions at Uni.?
yes she will need to register near where she is at uni, u can apply for free prescriptions on the basis of low income for a 19 yr old. the form is available from some pharmacies or yr local health authority. once u have sent off the form with evidence of income u still need to pay for any prescriptions (apart from the contraceptive pill which is always free) until u get the certificate however keep the receipts and u can claim a refund within 3 months once u have the certificate.
