No. For safety reasons, we at the Scott County Family Y ask that children under the age of 6 be accompanied by someone at least ____ years old. • Can we still swim if my child is not toilet trained? Yes! We ask that your child wear swim diapers such as Little Swimmers® or plastic-fitted swim pants. Please do not use a regular diaper in the pool because they can swell and cause problems with our filtration system. • What do I need to wear to swim at the Scott County Family Y pools? A swim suit or swim trunks. We do not allow denim or terry cloth materials in the pool. You may wear a white t-shirt if you are uncomfortable, but we will ask you not to swim in water levels above your head. • How do I check the pool schedules for family swim time? When is the best time to Lap Swim? Check out the Pool Schedules or ask at our welcome centers. • Do I need to take a soapy shower before I swim? Yes! Taking a shower before you swim is an important part of keeping our facilities clean and operating
