Can muslims adapt to non-Islamic environment?
I agree with you completely. If you are living in another country, you are a guest and should show respect for the people already living there. If I moved to India, I would learn Hindi immediately and embrace your culture. In my opinion, I do not believe Muslims can integrate. The emphasis on Arabic culture is too strong in the Quran. The Quran also promotes separation of Muslims and non-Muslims, that is why whenever there is a large population of Muslims in an area, they begin to demand a seperate state. This is happening in Western India, Southern Russia and Thailand right now.
They will “adapt” as long as they are in the minority. Once they gather and have enough numbers (like in India and the UK) they will start demanding that the society around them adapt. This is right in line with the teachings of Islam, their job as Muslims is to spread until the world is all Islam (after that, they’ll get rid of the minority Muslim sects).
