Can multiple units be combined to accommodate larger ponds?
A. With a maximum flow capacity (matching circulation pump output) of 19 GPM (72 LPM / 0.072 m3/hr) the Series 4 UV system has been designed for lower flow circulation systems. If the pump flow exceeds 19 GPM, then multiple units can be installed in parallel, using a large pipe diameter manifold to serve the increased flow from the pond circulation pump. Before considering multiple units, however , it is suggested to review the Trident Series 1 , Series 2, and Series 3 UV systems, which may be better suited to larger pond applications, as well as being more economical than installing multiple Series 4 systems.
