Can mTFP1 be co-imaged with GFP?

Like other cyan fluorescent proteins (CFPs), mTFP1’s emission spectrum has a significant amount of overlap with that of GFP, and so imaging both proteins in the same cell with standard fluorescence microscopy equipment is not possible. However, it would be possible to use spectral deconvolution imaging to separate these two fluorescent proteins.
