Can MountainScope share the GPS with other applications?

Using 3rd party software from Franson, it is possible to make several serial ports on the system give out the same GPS data as the real serial port. See our page about GPSGate On PDAs running Windows Mobile 5.0 or newer, there may be a provision in the OS for this… look under Start->Settings->System tab to see if there is an icon for GPS settings. If so (and if this feature is configured), MountainScope should display a “GPS Device” in its list of available ports.

What is your question?

*Sadly, we had to bring back ads too. Hopefully more targeted.
