Rotating of the Moog motor shaft does not affect the ability of the motor to produce force. A rotating shaft motor can only be accomplished with a position feedback sensor that would allow shaft rotation. The LC type Moog encoder does not allow rotation. Continuous rotation of the shaft could decrease the bearing life of the motor.
