0

A. Modulen® IBD is only recommended for the treatment of Crohn’s Disease. Irritable bowel syndrome is a functional gastrointestinal disorder (i.e. there is a problem with the way the bowel functions) whereas Crohn’s Disease is a type of Inflammatory Bowel Disease, characterised by ulceration of the mucosa (gut lining) whereas the mucosa of people with IBS appears completely normal.
