Britons living in London have seen their house values remain the highest during the economic downturn, many of whom may have helped aid this increase by making over their kitchens. Kitchens are often a focal point of prospective buyers and in order to make their property stand out from others, sellers may have added additional features and carried out some DIY. According to London Central Portfolio, further rises in value can be expected. Kitchens which are modern with plenty of space often add hundreds and sometimes thousands of pounds to the value of a home.
