Can Migrant Education funds and/or other resources be combined with other funds to serve migrant and non-migrant students in a schoolwide model?
Yes, but combining migrant funds or other funding sources is done in consultation among the School Leadership Team and the appropriate funding source stakeholders. For example, as part of the planning process, if in consultation with the Migrant Education Regional office and district, the School Leadership Team determines it is in the best interest of the migrant students not to combine Migrant Education funds in a schoolwide model (e.g., support needs are so great and/or present delivery system works well) the funds do not need to be combined.
