We have made our best educated guesses, based on projections and trend data from Global Insight, Inc., an economic forecasting firm, and the U.S. Census Bureau. These data have some limitations, especially when forecasting beyond 30 years, and we have extrapolated the population trend from the regional econometric forecast forward to 2060 to converge with the trend growth rate predicted for U.S. population.
