Can members of other unions refuse to cross the picket line?

0

Members of each of the University of Saskatchewan Faculty Association, Administrative and Supervisory Personnel Association, CUPE 1975, or CUPE 3287 may choose to invoke the provision in their respective collective agreements allowing them to respect the picket line. We appreciate the importance of continuing benefits coverage for employees in scope of USFA, ASPA or CUPE 3287 who choose to respect a picket line. Therefore, the University will without prejudice continue to pay for employer sponsored benefit premiums in these circumstances, and will defer this matter to each of the respective bargaining tables for future clarification.
