Can medics enter a new patient and record vital signs into the MC4 system before the patient is seen by a provider? If so, what provider name is entered for these functions?
AHLTA-T works on a role/privileges-based system. When accounts are created, users are able to do anything that is appropriate to their function. So to follow the example in the question, medics can enter a new patient into the system, as well as document their vital signs. Whenever information is entered into AHLTA-T, the data is noted with the users name, along with the time and date.
