Can medical staff aboard a ship conduct the Post-Deployment blood testing?
Medical staff can register with the Navy HIV program as an authorized representative by e-mailing the Navy Central HIV Program at nchp@bethesda.med.navy.mil if they want to conduct their own processing of blood for post-deployment. As an alternative ships may also coordinate with MTFs for assistance in drawing these specimen.
