Can MDF-500 be used to protect a surface against future mold growth?

0

Currently, the MDF-500 label does NOT make a claim to protect surfaces against future mold or mildew growth. Future amendments to the current label may mention resisting mold and mildew deterioration, stains, and odors. SERVPRO makes no claims of the MDF-500 product being effective for any use other than those claims permitted by the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) on Modec’s current product label. Currently, the label does not direct use of MDF-500 as a preservative or surface protectant. When applied according to directions on the product label, MDF-500 can be used as a mildewstat, disinfectant, and fungicide against present fungal growth.
