Can MD time be prorated for fewer than 40 enrollees?

The MD/RN staffing requirements for clinical treatment described in the Draft Standards is the minimum to be met for this PROS service component, even if there are less than 40 recipients in need of clinical services. The 1/8 staff requirement is about 5 hours per week each; possibly less if the standard work week for the position is less than 40 hours. If the PROS wants to get by on less staffing than that, or has less than 40 recipients who need clinical services, licensure as a Comprehensive PROS without Clinical Treatment may be a more appropriate option for the provider.
