Can Maurice Jones-Drew carry the offense?
Maurice Jones-Drew was set up for a breakout year last year following the release of longtime Jaguar Fred Taylor, and Jones-Drew did not disappoint. He rushed for 1,391 yards and 15 touchdowns on 312 carries and also caught 53 passes for 374 yards. Those are impressive numbers but take a look at the game logs. In the final seven games Jones-Drew only had one 100-yard performance and that game was also the only time in those seven games that he rushed for more than 80 yards. Did the full workload take its toll on Jones-Drew? Were defenses keying in on him more after seeing his performance in the first half of the season?
