Can MATRIGEL be used on people with neurodermatitis or other skin diseases?
Neurodermatitis is characterized by a severe disorder of the skin’s barrier function, very sensitive skin and often several allergies. Dermatological tests have shown that MATRIGEL – despite the high sensitivity of the skin- can be used. If MATRIGEL is applied to the skin of neurodermatitis sufferers, subsequent application of an oil-based product is recommended. For people with psoriasis or other itchy skin diseases, the application of a massage with a low-oil face mask such as MATRIGEL is very pleasant. Subsequently, the affected areas of skin should be treated as usual.
