No. Nationally recognised training can only be promoted and/or delivered by a registered training organisation (RTO) upon written approval. Under Section 34 (4) of the Training and Skills Development Act, 2008 it states A person must not issue, or claim to purport to issue, qualifications or statements of attainment under the AQF in relation to vocation education and training unless the person is: (a) registered as a training organisation in relation to vocational education and training; and (b) operating within the scope of the registration of the organisation and complying with the condition of the registration. A breach of this section of the Act may incur a Maximum penalty of $2,500.
