Market Participants (MPs) can submit self-schedules for settlement purposes (Reference 4.4.3). MPs will have access to machine-to-machine interfaces through the public internet in the Nodal market just as they do today in the zonal market. The Wide Area Network (WAN) connection is an ERCOT supported and secured network while the public internet access is not.
