Can maintenance be done while Assureon is operating?
We have designed it to support replacement of FRU’s without disruption. Replaced components are brought back on-line automatically and synchronized as necessary. If one of the redundant SQL databases goes down, a straightforward manual procedure must be performed by a trained technician to re-synchronize the databases. In the event that both databases and all their backups somehow get destroyed, the database can be re-constructed by extracting the necessary metadata information from the repository of assets or from the periodic database snapshots which are automatically created.
