0

It feels like a lump in the middle lower bottom portion of my throat. And I get it last night after eating a pill. It seem to have gotten worse and it doesn’t interfere with breathing or talking but I perceive it every time I swallow and eat. It also hurts a bit when I swallow. There is no physical appearance of a lump on the outside of my neck but it’s scaring me! I am 19 and I don’t smoke or drink so what could be the problem? Should I verbs? This never happened before! Answers: There is a lump that can develop over time called a goiter. It eventually shows on the outside of your throat. They are usually non cancerous. It might newly now have gotten bigger and that’s why you can feel it presently. They grow and grow. I had one 40 yrs ago and the only reason I go to the doctor was because it because it was noticeable on the outside. Another point that can happen is when you swallowed the pill, it went down hard and it will hurt for a few days. I know because I lug a lot of medication.
