Can lovebirds be “potty trained?

I have not read anything about a lovebird being potty trained; however, they can learn various tricks, so I think it is possible. Smaller parrots tend to need to go to the bathroom more often than larger parrots and with smaller “packages” so I think less people are motivated to teach smaller parrots. The method is relatively easy, but it needs consistency and patience to be successful. Basically, you choose a place where you would like the bird to go and you give the bird a command. Hold the bird over the place until they defecate, then praise them and let them play until it is about time for them to go again and repeat the procedure. With a lovebird it could be about every 10 mins., so it can get to be very repetitive for the human. Let me know how this goes if you try it.
