Can Loritab cause chest pain?
Poor diet and genetics are the causes of elevated cholesterol. If your father has elevated cholesterol levels, you will be prone to run high numbers also but this can be corrected with diet changes and medication if needed. The chest pain could be from lots of causes – from cardiac to muscular from some sort of lifting or activity you have done. A dose of ibuprofen (600 – 800 mg) might help you decide if it is muscular in nature. If the pain goes away after taking this med, it might be muscular in nature. If it becomes severe and is associated with sweating, shortness of breath or nausea – then a medical evaluation is indicated.
