Can liminality/ liminal behaviour explain what happens at beach resorts?

It compares our behaviour at home with our behaviour in an unfamiliar place away from our home environment and social norms. This paper looks at how people behave whilst in the beach environment along with british holiday traits and touches upon personal space, territory and what factors influence people to behave the way they do whislt at the beach. It also focusses on the beach dress codes and looks at how it might also influence unusual or out of the ordinary behaviour.
