Can LifeLink work with a PBX or a phone switch where you need to dial “9” (or some other digit) in order to get an outside line?
LifeLink will work with most newer (mfg date post-2005) phone systems such as a PBX. You would simply program the number exactly as you would dial it. For example, if you need to dial 9 first, and you are calling a long distance number of 610-555-7508, you would simply program “916105557508” into LifeLink. LifeLink can successfully dial up to 12 digits.
