Can lengths and item numbers of the same pipe be combined in the BOM as 1 item?
A. Fittings can be itemized, but not pipe. If you are using heat numbers PMI numbers, etc., then you will need fitting itemized to show each number. To summarize fittings, at the main program screen, use “Edit” – “Job/Spec Setup” and at the next screen pick “Fabrication Drawings”. Now choose the drop down menu to pick Fittings Summarized. Then, return to the Fabrication drawings screen and display the drawing. Use the menu item: ‘Edit’ – ‘Reset Item Labels’ to update the item labels.
