Can leg weights make me run faster/longer?

To be on the contrary to your previous answers, leg weights (such as ankle weights) will NOT make you run faster/longer. Those weights, while running, will do more damage than you think, mostly hyperextensions and put stress on your joints because of the added weight and the pressure from swinging that added weight. Now, if your working in the weight room on squats, leg extensions, leg presses, hamstring curls, yes that will help build muscle. As for faster and longer, faster maybe…longer, that depends on how fit you are.
