Can LED fixtures help reduce glare?
The key metric in glare is luminance—how “bright” on object appears. It is a function of size of the object. LEDs are smaller objects that can actually increase the potential for glare, but the Lunera luminous plane offers a larger surface area than other LED products and traditional light sources as well. As a result, we are able to mitigate the issues of glare.
