The radiation produced by the laser is non-ioninzing radiation which means it doesn’t cause cancer. It is the same heat that is produced from a light bulb. If you have had skin cancer in the past or suspect that you may have skin cancer you will be required to provide written permission for laser hair removal from your dermatologist prior to treatment.
