Can LAs rewrite the job descriptions and make LSC staff apply for these new jobs?
A. No. Staff will transfer under TUPE regulations and so cannot be made to apply for their job. Any changes that are made to the job descriptions which have the effect of changing their terms and conditions of employment must be made in consultation with the LSC staff who are transferring and can only be made with their agreement.
