Can lack of salt cause someone to faint?

salt is an important electrolyte that aids in muscle contractility. When you are low on salt or hyponatremic you can have tons effects from feeling weak to muscle craps or tremors to even seizures. People can also have relative low salt, this happens when you drink too much water and your body cant appropriatly distribute it. sounds like to me you should make sure to drink things like gatoraide/smart water/pedialyte….these all have electrolytes. As far as the blood donation goes, some people are very sensitive to changes in the amount of circulating blood. dialysis patients get this often. I would almost guess that the low salt and blood donations are not connected… but ya never know. blood test are required of course to make any diagnoses.
