Can Labrador Retriever Rescue recommend where to purchase a Lab puppy?
Although we are not in the puppy referral business, we hate to see well-meaning people buy a Lab puppy from a pet store, newspaper ad, or over the Internet. Locating a good Lab breeder takes time, effort, and research. A good Lab breeder usually has repeat customers or referrals and does not need to advertise. Good sources for referrals are your local Labrador breed club, a respected local veterinarian, or a reputable dog training center.
