YOu really shouldn’t go smaller than 1/16th of an inch. You need to get grout in there to make the tiles secure. It isn’t in there just to fill up a gap. It is part of the bonding and attachment process. I know that people who use granite tiles want them to look seamless but it isn’t a good idea.
