Children may use computers to do word processing, but are generally held to the same computer policies regarding time, availabilty and access. If they have a Library card NOT in good standing, they will not be allowed on a computer. They may be limited to a 1/2 hour to finish their work though, so they should bring a floppy disk or flash drive to save their work in case they do not finish. Children must have their report written out before typing it on the computer. Children using computers should have basic knowledge of how to type their report. The library staff can only offer limited help to students and in some case, cannot offer any help to children because of staffing needs.
