Can Karndean be laid in a conservatory?
A – Yes, it is possible to install Karndean in rooms where temperature extremes are likely to occur. A Karndean High Temperature adhesive (HT) or Epoxy must be used. Karndean products must be acclimatized to room temperature 24-48 hours before installation, during and for a period of 24-48 hours after installation. It may be necessary to protect the room from direct sunlight during fitting. Q – Can Karndean be laid over under floor heating? A – Yes, Karndean can be fitted over floors incorporating under floor heating, but these must be insulated to ensure the surface temperature does not exceed 80F. The under floor heating must be switched off 48 hours before, during, and 48 hours following the installation, and Karndean High Temperature or Epoxy adhesive must be used. Please check the under floor heating products instructions prior to fitting Karndean.
