Can Josh Freeman pass Mark Sanchez in the eyes of the NFL Scouts?
With the top ranked QB prospect in the 2009 NFL Draft, Matthew Stafford reportedly sitting out the Scouting Combine in favor of his own pro day instead, the question about the futures of Mark Sanchez and Josh Freeman takes precedence. A year ago, not many pundits and scouts had Joe Flacco ranked ahead of prospects Brian Brohm and Chad Henne, just keep that in mind, the question is not as ludicrous as one would think. Mark Sanchez is a good athlete there is no question about that, and he should work out well, however, Josh Freeman may outshine him. Freeman, who is likely to measure in at 6’6 250 has an unbelievable arm and can throw the ball a country mile, and is unbelievably quick and fast considering his size. Some pundits have tried to compare him to a JaMarcus Russell or Joe Flacco, but it is really tough to compare him to anyone do to his size/speed combination that few have ever seen.
