The Straight Talk Express is now John Edwards,” said Tampa-based Democratic consultant Bernie Campbell, who has no trouble making the case for Edwards’ winning the Democratic nomination. “He wins because of organization in early states, especially Iowa where he’s been on the ground since ’04,” Campbell said. “It’s pretty daunting in those first four states for Hillary and Obama, and Edwards is in a pretty strong position,” said Fort Lauderdale lawyer Mitchell Berger, a top Democratic fundraiser backing Edwards.
