Can Janvil fix scratches on an LCD screen, LCD monitor or a big screen TV?
• ANSWER: LCD screens and big screen TVs can be polished as long as it has a screen protector on it. This screen protector is an additional layer of plastic that is either placed in front of the actual screen or is permanently bonded onto it. Many of the older screens did not automatically come with a screen protector but they could be added at an extra expense. Depending on the age and manufacture for the screen, you may or may not have a protector on it which means you may or may not be able to polish it. The best way to determine if it has a screen protector is to ask the manufacturer. Another way to determine if one is present is to take a close look at the screen. If it appears to have a glossy, shiny, 100% smooth finish to it, you are in luck because it most likely has a screen protector and our product can be used on it.
