Can Jake Peavy rebound from an 11-14 season?
The hard-throwing right-hander had a variety of injuries and bad luck a year ago. One example was his record 16-strikeout performance against the Braves where he still suffered the loss to John Smoltz. Peavy described last year as a “roller-coaster ride” but hopes to get back on an even keel in 2007. Despite his success, people may forget that Peavy is just 25.
