Can IV sedation at the dentists go wrong or have different reactions for different people?
We all have different metabolisms and we all can react to different drugs in different ways. I have the same issue in that it did not work, twice with dental treatment and once with a sterilisation and like you I got up and walked away with no residual problems. Trying to find a reason for this I was given a possible explanation that pure fear puts my brain into overdrive and I just work through the drugs as such. But on the other hand I have allergic reactions and problems taking all sorts of medications so that means my metabolism it weird as well. I am now in the situation of needing sedation every five months for a procedure and well put it this way, it takes ages to get to a point they can do the work.
